I heard numerous people comment about the taste and quality of your food....everything was outstanding! In addition I wanted you to know that I was impressed with the professionalism and friendliness of your staff. The reception went off without a hitch.  Thank you, thank you, thank you! You are my favorite caterer and I continue to sing your praises. You simply outdid yourself and I continue to be impressed with your work...it definitely is your calling!

At the Island Slipper Grand Opening we wanted to create a special event for our customers and friends. Island Lu’au was the perfect addition to our in-store entertainment featuring Makana, Jeff Paterson Puamana, and Ernie Cuze Jr. Island Lu’au took our upstairs office and turned it into a tropical Oasis. The presentation, and service was excellent. Everyone from the entertainers, news media, friends and staff all raved about the food. Island Lu’au made this perfect day even better.

Yaneth and her team at Island Luau catered our wedding reception on Sept 17, 2011 at Moli'i Gardens, Kualoa Ranch, Oahu. We couldn't have been more impressed with Island Luau and highly recommend it as caterer for any occasion. We were given a few options from our Wedding Planner, and one of those was Island Luau, and we made the right choice! For the reception we had the Sunset Salad served to our guests and then a buffet with Kalua Pork, Mahi Mahi, Ono Broccoli Salad, and Coconut Rice. My husband and I don't care for cake, so in place of the traditional wedding cake Island Luau also caterered an Ice Cream Bar with various sauces and toppings. It was all spectacular!

Island Luau also offers a tasting so you can see and taste the food for yourself before you commit to the menu. Yaneth and her team came to my father-in-law's house in Kailua, prepared the food onsite, and then served it on beautiful plates for us to taste. My only regret was that we weren't able to order all the food from the tasting for our reception - it was all amazing (I particularly loved the mango salsa).

The day of the ceremony/reception, Island Luau came early and prepared the food onsite with the staff all dressed impeccably. Many of the staff talked with us before our guests arrived, this sort of personal attention again assured us we made the right choice in caterer. For the dinner the food and service were all amazing...it's as simple as that. To this day we still receive praise from our family and friends about the food at our reception. When you think of what makes a great wedding reception one of the first things people think of is the food - ensure your guests keep talking about your wedding by catering your food through Island Luau!

Thank you very much for your kind words and for the wonderful food and service you provided for our daughter's tropical fairy tale wedding.  We were thrilled with the quality and quantity of delicious food you provided with excellent and professional service. The menu you helped us select was the perfect combination of Hawaiian and local foods and I honestly do not think we even imagined how wonderfully it would all turn out.  We received many compliments on the catering (especially the kalua pork, the chicken and the salsa) and have already recommended Island Lu'au to many interested friends and family members. The party was such a special celebration and your services helped to make it a success.  You added just a few of the extras to make it really great!  I especially appreciate your personal touch by visiting our home before the party and your efforts in keeping in touch.  You always answered my emails promptly.  I really liked it that you keep the communication open and constant.  You made us feel so comfortable when we made changes or asked so many questions.  You made doing business with you such a pressure.Your food was great and sooooo fresh.  The serving table looked excellent and very inviting.  It added a little class to our backyard party.  We were so thankful that you served the cake - and what a hit that was!  We received many compliments on your cake.

Thank you for planning my Christmas Luau party. It was so comforting and relaxing for me to know that all the details (small and big) would be taken care of by Island Luau. I was even able to go for a jog on the beach in the morning before coming home to my house for my own party. For once in a long time, I could relax and enjoy my 50 guests, rather than chasing around them doing set up, cooking and clean up.
